About the River

The River Community Center/Lake Fellowship Ministries

A Hub for Faith,
Family, Fitness, and Mentoring

Welcome to The River Community Center, where our mission is to serve the diverse needs of our community through faith-based mentoring, family-focused events, and access to a top-notch fitness facility. At The River, we believe in fostering connections, promoting healthy lifestyles, and providing enriching programs for individuals and families of all ages.

Tiny Tots Play & Learn Room

Our Tiny Tots Play & Learn Room is an interactive space designed for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children aged 0-5 years old. Here, little ones can explore, play, and learn through engaging activities that encourage interaction and development. We invite families to join us in this nurturing environment where creativity and curiosity flourish.

Fitness Center and Gym

The fitness center is intended for individuals aged 18 and above (or 15-17 when accompanied by an adult). Some of the available equipment includes weight training machines, treadmills, spin cycles, and elliptical bikes. An equipment area designed to suit children aged 8-14 is also available. Basketball, gym activities, ping pong, and pool tables are accessible to support individuals across multiple generations. Our goal is to provide a secure environment where you can improve your physical and mental well-being. We aim to introduce exercise classes in the near future.

The River Community Community is under the 501(c)(3) of Lake Fellowship Ministries. Lake Fellowship Ministries is comprised of Lake Co. churches. The pastors  began as a group praying for unity in the community of Lake Co.  In the Spring of 2020,  they received the opportunity to purchase the building where the community center is located.  Their vision and goal was to create a safe place for the community to gather.
